St Bartholomew’s Church Maresfield is fundraising for new kitchen and toilet facilities with a new Buy A Brick campaign – see the  the story on the guide and how to donate

High Hurstwood Village Hall need your baking skills!

Linden Cottage Care Home Uckfield needs your help

The home are undertaking a project to mobilise a second Summer house for residents to enjoy, and have already raised funds but are making one last push and asking the residents to support them through Just Giving – the project is being supported by Mayor Jackie Love and the local Police as well, to donate see the Guide for the story.

Tesco Express at Manor Park is closed for refurbishment until 2nd August.

Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice shop needs volunteers! 

The shop want to thank locals for recent donations, but now the shop desperately needs volunteers to help them stay open. There are a variety of roles on offer including customer service, sorting and prepping donated stock, merchandising and operating the till. Full training and support is given.

Model Railway weekend is back for 2021!, Enjoy steam train rides, explore stations and visit the exhibitions! Join us at the Bluebell Railway for our Model Railway Weekend. This firm favourite is back for 2021. Come and see a variety of layouts across the railway and experience unique access to non-public areas such as the Maintenance Shed and Locomotive Workshop at Sheffield Park Station and the Carriage and Wagon Workshop at Horsted Keynes Station. 60 plus 1… Help celebrate the railways achievements from over the last 60 years with a packed weekend of displays, activities, music, festivities and, of course, steam engines.

Raystede are challenging you to kayak 29km for Raystede down the majestic River Medway. You will have plenty of time to complete this challenge, and Hatt Adventures have said that most people will finish the kayak between 5-8 hours! Details on the Guide.

Will you take a leap for the rescue animals at Raystede and join our Summer skydive? This once in a lifetime experience will take part in Salisbury airfield on Saturday 21st August and you will free fall from 10,000 ft at a speed of 120 mph.
