Uckfield United are away at Portslade Athletic Reserves – this and more this weekend!

After a series of postponements, AFC Uckfield Town will be hoping to return to action tomorrow for the first time since December 18th with a visit to old rivals Newhaven in the Southern Combination League.

Buxted take on AFC Uckfield Town Reserves at the Victoria Pleasure Ground.

Newick host Burgess Hill Rhinos, while Nutley visit Reigate Priory Reserves.  There are also away fixtures this week for Fletching against FC Sporting and for Maresfield, who face Fairfield Reserves, and Ridgewood are at home to Cuckfield Rangers in a cup match.

In the Isthmian Premier Division, Lewes will be looking to continue their good recent run of form that has taken them up to third place, as they entertain Merstham. Brighton and Hove Albion are in action this evening, as the Seagulls host arch rivals Crystal Palace at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton’s Ladies team go to bottom club Leicester in the Women’s Super League, while Lewes visit Charlton in the Championship; both those matches are on Sunday afternoon.

In local rugby, Uckfield play their first home game of the New Year tomorrow afternoon, as they welcome local rivals Burgess Hill to Hempstead Fields.
