Uckfield has a new Choir

A growing and dynamic town like Uckfield needs a choir to match its aspirations.

As we emerge from a protracted lock-down – where peoples’ mental health has suffered due to isolation, depression and the inability to get out and join cohesive groups – it was felt that a new and exciting choir was needed for the community to rediscover their creativity, make music and ultimately, friends. With this the Uckfield Soul Survivors choir has been formed!

The joint leaders of the choir, Tim and Ginger, have much experience covering an extensive array of genres, both choral and contemporary, to bring an exciting and stimulating musicality to the table. The choir will sing contemporary and up-to date songs with arrangements done ‘in house’ .

Ginger adds “We are focussed on being an inclusive and welcoming group. Everyone is invited, regardless of ability to sing or read music – we are here to convince you that everyone can sing and that each voice is of equal importance. Tim and I hope to meet many of Uckfield’s community – as we embark on this exciting journey.”
