As restrictions ease, more charities are re-opening.
The Uckfield & District Preservation Society (UDPS) is delighted to announce that its charity shop in Uckfield High Street will re-open on Monday 12 April, in line with the Government’s road map for the relaxing of coronavirus restrictions.
Staff will wear PPE, and social distancing will be maintained. Customers are expected to wear face masks, unless exempt for medical reasons, and to use the hand sanitizers that will be provided.
The popular Uckfield Heritage range of upcycled items will be on sale, with more stock expected in coming days.
“We are happy to accept donated items for sale at the shop itself (rather than in Bridge Cottage), so long as the available storage space allows” said their spokesperson, additionally If anyone would like to join the volunteer staff in the shop, or to upcycle donated items, please contact the shop on 01825 766958 – they will be delighted to hear from you.
More information about the resumption of Bridge Cottage Markets and Open Days at Nutley Windmill will be available shortly.
