Could you volunteer for Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare?
As the centre prepares to reopen, they are looking for volunteers to help visitors.
During the last reopening, Shawn from the Fundraising Team, took on the role of car park marshal. “Last time we reopened, I did car parking and booking in and really enjoyed helping people. Lots of people come because they know and love Raystede so it’s nice to talk to the regulars. The team at Raystede are the best people I have worked with and always looking for new ways to help animals – everyone is approachable and friendly. If you’d like to volunteer for this role, you’ve got to be good at communicating, try and help people and make sure you put on a warm coat – it can be cold in the car park!”
