Local schools are keeping pupils and parents alike active with a physical challenge, as part of their new link with charity Starfish Malawi.
The Pioneer Federation of Schools – which is made up of East Hoathly Primary School, Chiddingly Primary School and St Mary the Virgin Primary School in Hartfield – have challenged pupils, parents, staff and governors to collectively travel the 6555 miles to Malawi.
They can walk, run, cycle, scoot or rollerskate their miles between 15 January and 21 February. The challenge is being used to start educating the children about the charity’s work.
