Grassroots football returned to East Sussex at the weekend after the easing of lockdown restrictions.
Ahead of their return to competitive football next weekend, AFC Uckfield Town made the short trip to local rivals Crowborough for a friendly match on Saturday, which Crowborough won five-two.
In the Mid Sussex League, Ridgewood went down to a five-nil defeat at Southwick.
There was defeat too for Uckfield United, who lost two-nil at home to Eastbourne Athletic, elsewhere, Buxted had a four-three victory over Burgess Hill Albion, and Fletching beat AFC Varndeanians Reserves by the same score line.
Nutley were three-one winners over Pound Hill, whilst Newick defeated Ridgewood Reserves five-nil and Maresfield had a three-two win against Buxted Reserves.
