Chailey Repair Café September update

The team are busier than ever

Bryan from the team told us “Look for us on Facebook, and you’ll see some photos and videos of some of the many unusual things which have recently been brought in  to us to repair, including a rare Japanese carved table, 2 Kenwood Chefs, several irons, a Corby trouser press, a cushion cover, some old skis, a superb ride on child’s car and  a pair of hurling sticks!!”

Don’t forget that the team also sharpen kitchen and garden knives and shears and repair clothing and cycles.

The café request that you take portable domestic items only please, which they will try to repair while you wait. There is no charge for the service, but the café invite you to make a donation to support running costs. There is no need to book – just turn up and they will see you as soon as we can.

You’ll find the team at St Peter’s Church, Chailey on the A275 at Chailey Green on the second Saturday of each month (11th Sept, 9thOct, 13th Nov and 11th Dec) between 1000hrs and 1300hrs where they will have a full Café service including legendary cakes, contact the team at and they see what they can do to help.

See you very soon!! Bryan McAlley and the Chailey Repair Café team
