With current restrictions, the Chailey Repair Café are still not able to offer you all a face to face service

Bryan McAlley and the Chailey Repair Café team said “our “drop off” service continues and is as popular as ever”.
How does it work?
The team will put your repair enquiry out to the team of volunteers and anyone who is prepared to take it on agrees to do so.
The assigned person makes contact and takes the repair forward.
What does it cost?
All the team ask for is payment for any parts required, and invite you to make a donation toward the Café – of your choosing.
They said “Please note that we cannot visit you at home, and the volunteer who takes on your repair might not be just down the road from you”
The team as that when submitting a repair, you say a bit more than “my toaster is broken”
You’ll need the make and model number of the item, exactly what has gone wrong, a good quality photo or two.
At the moment repairs are limited to one repair at a time, as the team are seriously busy.
