Award-winning storyteller staging new show to support Chailey Heritage

A local, award-winning storyteller is planning an online show to help raise funds for Chailey Heritage Foundation.

Jason Buck from Haywards Heath will present the show on Zoom during February half term.

He said, “I met one of Chailey’s staff at a Storytelling Club in Cuckfield so I was so pleased when she asked if I could help.

Charities are obviously having a challenging time during the pandemic so I am happy to be doing my little bit to support what is obviously a very worthwhile cause.”

During the hour long show on Wednesday 17 February at 6pm, Jason will tell 4 stories which are suitable for all ages. Tickets are just £5 and you can buy a ticket here. If you can’t attend at the time, you can still buy a ticket and receive a link to watch a recording of the show.

Jason has written and published four collections of his own stories, as well a retelling of the ancient Viking myths, won silver at the 2016 Lying Festival and recently won ‘Best Bard’ at Profound Decisions’ ‘Theatre of Joy and Sorrow’.
