Sussex Police has welcomed the new national framework on Violence Against Women and Girls published today.

The new structure is aiming to ‘give victims a consistently high standard of service’ whilst elements of the framework are already reflected in some of Sussex Police’s plans.

The force is also supporting Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne’s new ‘Do the Right Thing’ initiative.

Nus Ghani has attended a tree planting ceremony near Crowborough as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy initiative.

The MP for Wealden attended the observance last Friday to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year to celebrate her 70 years of service.

Nus Ghani is encouraging all Wealden residents to take part and plant a tree for the jubilee.

Santa and his sleigh are continuing his routes around Uckfield this year with support from Uckfield Lions.
