Wealden MP Nus Ghani is supporting a local Brain Tumour research charity.

Nus Ghani received an update on the ‘Pathway to a Cure – breaking down the barriers’ inquiry that has been discussed at one of the parliamentary groups.

Wealden charity Charlie’s Challenge has been raising funds for research into children’s brain tumours since 1993.

Uckfield is hosting the Bonfire Carol Service Procession.

On December 12 bonfire societies will be parading the streets of Uckfield following a missed year due to the pandemic.

Societies will be walking in procession at 2:30pm for a 3pm carol service.

A venue in Eastbourne is encouraging locals to get into the spirit of Christmas with music.

The Pavilion on Eastbourne Seafront will be hosting a variety of music nights in the run up to the festivities as well as on Boxing Day.

Locals are being invited along to the free events for mince pies, mulled wine and to enjoy the live music.

And finally, the latest summary of COVID cases show that 162 people in Wealden tested positive yesterday, bringing the total to 1,073 in the last seven days.
