Wealden District Council have revealed that millions of pounds will be invested into health and leisure facilities across the district.

9 million pounds that has been received by the council is being recommended to be spent on projects including a new Community Sports Hub on the outskirts of Hailsham.

The details of the funding for sports and health facilities has been revealed in Wealden Council’s annual Infrastructure Funding Statement.

The Conservators of Ashdown Forest will now be discussing to make a final decision in early 2022.
