In tomorrow’s local football, after back-to-back defeats on the road over the past week, AFC Uckfield Town will be looking to get back to winning ways with a victory against Langney Wanderers in what is scheduled to be their first home match at the Oaks since the end of October.

In the Mid Sussex League, Ridgewood are away to Hurstpierpoint, whilst Nutley visit Mile Oak Reserves.  Elsewhere, Buxted host AFC Acorns.   Fletching entertain AFC Hurst.  And Maresfield take on AFC Uckfield Town’s fourth team.  Meanwhile, Newick are at Ansty Sports and Social Club Reserves.

After their League Cup exit in midweek, Lewes return to league matters tomorrow, when they host play-off chasing Carshalton.

And following their FA Cup defeat last Saturday, Brighton and Hove Albion return to Premier League action tomorrow afternoon, when they visit Everton.

In rugby union, Uckfield are back in action tomorrow after their festive season break, as they visit Pulborough.  Meanwhile, Newick are also away – they go to Shoreham.
