On a hot and sunny Sunday afternoon members of Isfield cricket club have begun socially distanced net sessions in line with latest government regulations.
Having won promotion last season to Div 4 the club is preparing as best they can for the hopeful resumption of cricket in July.
The cricket square at Isfield CC is in superb condition, lovingly looked after and tended by groundsman David Williams who has been maintaining the ground to a level that you could play bowls on !!! (must be up there with the best in the league).
With one of the wettest winters on record followed by the Sunniest May on record with only 9.6 mm average rainfall pre-season rolling and reducing the height of cut has been a challenge but looking at the square now he has got on top of it .
