Wealden doctors and dentists are advising their patients not to attend the surgeries if they believe they may have come into contact with anyone who may have have the Coronavirus.
Bird in Eye surgery is advising patients via its website ‘If you have travelled to China within the last 14 days (or have had contact with anyone that has) – DO NOT attend the surgery, but call 111 in the first instance’

The Meads Surgery website information as follows: ‘If you have recently travelled from mainland China or you believe you may have been in contact with someone who has been confirmed as having the Coronavirus please telephone the surgery informing them of this as well as any symptoms you may be experiencing. Please do not visit the surgery and self isolate. We have procedures in place and we will be able to discuss these with you when you telephone in’
The Lodge Dental Surgery in Newtown contacted patients this morning via text to call 111 and not to attend the surgery if you have a cough, fever or shortness of breath and have recently been to a south east Asian country.
