Oakwood Park Polo Club are celebrating the opening of their new arena.

The club is the home of Sussex County Polo and is situated near Uckfield.

It’s the only fully HPA affiliated club to have both summer and winter polo facilities in the wider area of Sussex. Francis Matthews started the club in 1999 at The Royal Leisure Centre in Henfield but it quickly outgrew the venue and found a new permanent home at Oakwood Park.

It boasts an all-weather, HPA compliant polo arena, allowing polo to be played throughout the year.

The Club is offering polo lessons and training programmes to people of any age and any ability, from non-riders and complete beginners, to skilled players. They will tailor your experience to suit your specific aims and offer a wide range of activities including riding lessons, one-to-one polo tuition, group lessons, corporate polo days, and much more.

Full Playing Membership offers access to the Club’s County Tournament programme of summer and winter tournaments as well as weekly chukkas. For more information and to book, please visit: www.oakwoodparkpoloclub.co.uk.
