Christmas Hamper up for grabs for charity

An Uckfield born lady, Charlotte Davies is undertaking a massive challenge in 2021, a trek through the Borneo Jungle in aid of raising money for a brilliant local charity.

Charlotte told us “I will be pushing myself to the limit over tough terrain, hiking through rivers all while carrying all our kit and camping in remote villages”.

The charity is Sussex based You Raise Me Up (YRMU), and is very close to Charlotte’s heart.

YRMU is a small charity who support families, emotionally and financially, who have lost children/adults aged 16-25yrs.

The money used to support these families is solely from charitable donations.

“Covid-19 has significantly impacted their charitable income so I am determined to do my bit to enable them to continue to offer bereaved families vital parental and sibling counselling as well as funding towards children ad young adults funerals.”

Charlotte is raffling a Christmas Hamper containing more than £100 of fresh local meat which is so kindly sponsored by a local business, KA Interiors

Meat and all the goodies are supplied by the awesome guys at Nose2Tail Family Butchers! Plus a second draw to win a £30 voucher that has been kindly donated by Nose2Tail.

Tickets are £2 and the draw will take place on 20th December – you can contact Charlotte by clicking here
