Cats Protection to hold virtual Black Cat Day event

Cat’s Protection’s National Cat Adoption Centre will be celebrating National Black Cat Day this year with a day of online fun and games.

The centre, which is located in Chelwood Gate is currently closed to visitors and cats are being rehomed with its Hands-free Homing initiative.

On Friday 30 October, cat lovers can catch up with how the centre has continued to care for cats during the crisis, as well as enjoying some Halloween themed family fun!

Daytime online activities will include a fancy dress competition, pumpkin carving competition, a virtual video tour of the centre, a video stream of the kittens currently at the centre and a q&a session.

In the evening there will be an online quiz and virtual apple bobbing.

All the fun will be hosted on the centre’s Facebook page, where you’ll also be able to make a donation.
