After the postponement of their Sussex RUR Cup semi-final at Peacehaven and Telscombe last night, AFC Uckfield Town will hope to return to league action tomorrow afternoon with a visit to third-from-bottom Saltdean, writes David Eggleston.

In the Mid Sussex Football League, Ridgewood take on Crawley Devils at the Uckfield All-weather pitch.

Elsewhere, waterlogged pitches are likely to be the order of the day again.  But, in scheduled matches, Nutley host Sovereign Saints, and there are also home fixtures for Buxted against Holland Sports and for Fletching, who meet Plumpton Athletic.  Meanwhile, Newick are away at AFC Uckfield Town’s fourth team.

In the Betvictor Premier Division, Lewes will be hoping to build on two encouraging away draws, as they entertain mid-table Kingstonian.

And in the Premier League, Brighton and Hove Albion, who are now eight games without a win, face a tough test tomorrow, when they visit sixth-placed Wolves.

Finally, Uckfield rugby club are without a fixture this weekend.  Elsewhere in local rugby, Newick are away at Hove’s third team.
