Have you ever walked through a picturesque village, gazing in through the windows of the beautiful houses wondering what lies behind the garden gates?
Well for only one day each year the award winning village of Fletching opens over 20 of its private gardens to the general public with the chance to talk to the owners and gardeners. This year the date for your diary is Sunday 14th June.
The Fletching Garden Trail has been the main fundraising event for this incredible school and all
proceeds directly benefit the school.
Fletching is nestled in the magnificent countryside only a couple of miles from Sheffield Park
National Trust Gardens and the Bluebell Railway. The Garden Trail guarantees fun for all,
including a variety of children’s activities, a raffle and a popular plant sale. Some of the gardens
have featured in national publications so it promises to be a visual treat.
For the first time, the bucolic Glebe House will be hosting the popular Garden Cafe, serving
delicious light lunches, refreshments and home-made cakes throughout the day, all set in an idyllic
location. Additionally, an ice cream cart will sell a variety of homemade ice creams.
All of this for just £6 per adult and no entry charge for children. Tickets should be purchased on
the day from the school playground. Our brochure includes a map to help you navigate your way
from exquisite garden to garden.
