After their brilliant win over Horsham YMCA in midweek that saw them reach the final of the Peter Bentley Cup, AFC Uckfield Town turn their attention back to the Southern Combination League tomorrow afternoon.

But, they’ll face one of their sternest tests of the season, as they travel to the league leaders Chichester City.

In the Mid Sussex League, Ridgewood are at home to AFC Acorns, while Fletching host Buxted Reserves. Elsewhere, Newick are away at Balcombe’s third team in a cup game.

Lewes will be hoping to end their recent dip in form, as they visit Carshalton in the Bostik Premier League.

Meanwhile, Brighton and Hove Albion are without a fixture this weekend.

In rugby union, Uckfield play their re-arranged cup match with East Grinstead at Hempstead Fields tomorrow afternoon.

Finally, it’s good luck to the members of the Uckfield Runners Club and everyone else from the Uckfield FM area who will be taking part in the Brighton Half Marathon on Sunday morning.
