It was not a good day yesterday at Dawson Hart Solicitor’s Charity Easter Egg Hunt, it was a fantastic day! Over 100 children and their families went down to the Uckfield Rugby Club at Hempstead Fields to enjoy an Easter Egg hunt in the woods. They were greeted by the Easter Bunny who was handing out chocolate eggs.
There were children with exquisitely painted faces by Pretty Fantastic Faces and when they had won some superb prizes on the tombola or had turned their hand to some crafts they were racing to have a go on the inflatable slide or eating an ice cream! Everyone was able to relax in the sun and enjoy the music by Just AGB Event Services.
You could win tickets donated by The Uckfield Picture House and afternoon tea at the Lansdowne Hotel in Eastbourne There was also a giant teddy to be won and if you were in with a chance of winning a gravity defying sweetie cake if you guessed the numbers of sweets correctly!

Laura Manton, Director of Dawson Hart Solicitors said “It was a great success as we raised over £1,000 for the Hospice and we were able to have some fun too. Seeing families enjoying their time together and making the most of the sun was lovely to see.”
Laura would like to express her gratitude to all those who donated their time and services for free, for Peter Oliver Estate agents for sponsoring the event, the customers of Tesco who donated eggs and for everyone at the Uckfield Ruby Club and Dawson Hart who help make it all possible.
