Make sure you are registered to vote

All Wealden households will shortly be receiving their Annual Enquiry Forms through the post.

If there are any changes or additions, those people affected may be unable to vote in any forthcoming general election if you do not respond promptly.

The quickest way to respond to the Annual Enquiry Form is to go online. We need you to confirm that the information is correct or make the necessary changes. Details you need to go online, including your two-part security code, are contained in the Annual Enquiry Form we are sending you.

If you have not responded to the Annual Enquiry Form by 20 September, we will need to make follow-up doorstep visits, at an additional expense to the taxpayer.

If you are not currently registered to vote in Wealden, your name will not appear on the form.

So to register, there are two steps you need to follow:

Step 1: Visit to tell us who lives at the property.

Step 2: Visit and register to vote. The sooner you apply, the sooner your registration can be processed.

You are still required to respond to the form, even if all the details are correct. We have produced a short video to explain the process:

We have a duty to make sure we have the right details on the electoral register for every address. You can help us by responding promptly.
