Little Horsted Fun Run 2019

Little Horsted Fun Run 2019 is a family event with 1k, 5k and 10k distances. It is a very well-established event which has been going for 10 years now.

Money raised by the event will go towards new equipment for Little Horsted School and your support is greatly appreciated.

Registration opened at 9am on the day . There were tables clearly sign posted as to where to collect your running numbers if you had entered online and where to enter if you decided on the day. There was a pre-run warm up for all ages on the playing field before the starts for the 357 runners taking part .

Bacon Butties, cakes, teas and coffees were available to purchase throughout the event from the pavilion. An ice cream van was also be onsite.

The 10K race started at 10:30am, the 5k started at 10:35am and the 1k race started at 10:40am all from the Isfield Playing Fields All the runs were across the wonderful East Sussex countryside. 12 marshals were on hand help guide runners along the way and water stations were available at 2 points along the 10k route and 1 point along the 5k.

All three runs were timed and everyone who entered received an individual time for their run. The times were available shortly after all runners had finished the runs. Run times were also be uploaded to the website after the event.

Every runner that entered received a medal.

The winner of the 1k run was 9 year old Nesta Pring from Heathfield ,Troy Southall age 14 from Uckfield won the 5k race and the 10k race was won by Greg Czerniawski from Uckfield.
