One lucky local primary school took delivery of a donated 7ft Christmas tree last week.
Former Holy Cross Church of England Primary School pupil, Michael Grant presented the Blue Spruce Christmas Tree to Headteacher, Mrs Cathy Dart on Monday.
Once set up in the school hall, no time was taken in decking out the tree with festive decorations, lights and a sparkling star.
The Christmas tree was donated by Michael Grant Christmas Trees Uckfield, which this year is based at White House Farm in Uckfield. Michael stocks trees known for their needle retention, including Noble Fir, Nordmann and Blue Spruce trees, available either in pots or as cut trees.
Mrs Dart said: “We are very grateful to Michael for donating the Christmas tree to the school. It looks fabulous in our hall and the children love it. Great to think that children connected to Holy Cross still remember us fondly and want to give something back to their old school.”
