Sheffield Park and Garden were thrilled to welcome their 300,000th visitor within the last 12 months on Sunday 17 February at 12.25pm.
Sam, Hayley and Harley Gilbraith from Haywards Heath were the lucky recipients of a bottle of sparkling wine and a voucher for a cream tea for two.
This is the first time that the reception team have greeted this milestone visitor number within a 12-month period. As the property continues to grow as a popular destination for visitors, we are thrilled that National Trust members, the local community and coach parties continue to delight in the gardens and wider estate.
Jo Grocott, Senior Visitor Experience Officer at Sheffield Park and Garden said: “We were delighted to welcome the Gilbraith family as our 300,000th visitors at Sheffield Park last Sunday. As a team we work hard to welcome all our visitors and provide year round events to appeal to everyone, as well as providing a beautiful garden in which to stroll and notice the seasons.”
Sheffield Park and Garden is open 10am to 5pm every day.
A schedule of events takes place throughout the year, including the Waterlily Festival in June. For further information visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/sheffieldpark .
