After their superb victory in the FA Vase last weekend, AFC Uckfield Town now turn their attention to league matters for the next few weeks, beginning tomorrow with a visit to second-from-bottom Loxwood.

In the Mid Sussex League, Nutley host Charlwood, whilst there are also home fixtures this week for Ridgewood against Balcombe Reserves and for Newick, who face Polegate Reserves.  Elsewhere, Fletching are away at AFC Ringmer Reserves and Maresfield visit Ditchling Reserves.

Lewes moved to the top of the Bostik Premier League table on Wednesday night with a five-nil win, and they’ll be looking to retain top spot tomorrow, when they host mid-table Margate.

And, Brighton and Hove Albion will be hoping to bounce back from their defeat at Burnley last Saturday, but they face a stern test with the visit of Chelsea to the Amex Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

In rugby union, Uckfield play their final match of the year tomorrow afternoon, as they look to maintain their 100 per cent record with a trip to local rivals Eastbourne.

Meanwhile, Newick travel to Crawley to take on St Francis.
