Picture House Restaurant re-opens after a makeover

It’s been a very busy summer for The Picture House not only with the film of the summer ‘Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again

In a press release today they say:

‘Behind the screens we’ve been working very hard refurbishing the restaurant and putting the final touches to our brand new website both of which launched on Monday 3rd September.

‘A six figure sum and 18 months of development has been invested in the new website to create the best cinema website ever (there really aren’t any good ones!). Our challenge was to create a stunning site, easy to navigate, with a simple booking process that incorporated both the cinema and restaurant.

‘Customers can now use Paypal and Apple Pay as well as card. They are then emailed their itinerary with film and table time. Not only that but the restaurant was closed during August for refurbishment. This included installing new energy efficient lighting and kitchen equipment as well as new furniture, flooring and décor.

‘The newly painted walls have provided a new blank canvas to display more fabulous original film posters collected over the years by Kevin Markwick. Everyone worked extremely hard and the restaurant reopened on 3rd September as planned.
