Buxted Scouts Christmas Tree Sale – now until end of November

For the first time last year 1st Buxted (O’Brien’s Own) Scout Group ran an online Christmas Tree purchasing campaign.

They are running this again and hoping to raise some money for the group, the main fundraiser for the Scout Group is the annual Fireworks Display in Buxted along with the selling of raffle tickets in Uckfield High Street, both of which, because of COVID-19 restrictions they are currently unable to do and this decrease in funds will be felt throughout the Group.

The trees are premium quality Nordmann firs.  They are beautiful non-drop trees with glossy green needles.

Sustainably grown in Sussex they will be freshly cut just before the collection/delivery date which ensures fantastic lasting quality and needle retention.

The trees have to be ordered online by 30th November an extension from the original date – please go to www.buxtedscouts.co.uk

Trees can be collected from Buxted Scout Hut, Framfield Road, Buxted, TN22 5FD on Saturday 5th December between 10am and 12pm.

Delivery to local TN22 postcode is offered at an extra cost of £5.  We are hoping to run some festive activities on the morning of the collection but this will of course be covid dependent.

Buxted Scouts is a large group which has been running since 1909.

They have over 140 young people on roll from Beavers through to Explorers, they strive to offer a traditional Scouting experience which aims to inspire our young people, equip them with skills for life and most of all have fun and make friends.
