The Peacock Inn is reopening Saturday the 4th of July. The restaurant and bar is known locally for its high standard in food and drink service.
The Peacock has been owned by Matthew Arnold for over 30 years and has a strong reputation on the quality it offers.
The staff and management team have years of experience with the kitchen management having worked there for 10 years and 16 years respectively.
This family run business boasts both high hygiene standards and staff satisfaction. This is shown by the long term team and the customer approval.
Covid19 has highlighted many issues for catering. But this small business has already managed to adapt and build a strong plan for reopening.
Here is a statement from The Peacock Inn.
“We hope you are all as excited as we are for the re-opening of The Peacock Inn.
For the last few weeks our team have been putting in procedures to make sure we are Covid-19 secure to protect the health and safety of our customers and staff, an example of these procedures are:
Deep clean has been carried throughout the whole building, we have reduced the number of tables in the bar, dining room, front and back gardens to comply with the 1 metre plus social distancing guidance. There are hand sanitising stations set up in the bar and dining room.
We will be operating with a reduced menu (hopefully this will include all of your favourites) and food will be served from 12- 8pm on Saturday the 4th July and 12- 6pm Sunday the 5th July a roast sirloin of beef will be available but for pre-order only on Sunday.
Bookings only for indoor tables on the opening weekend, the phone lines are currently not in use at the pub but will be back in use from Saturday the 4th. For any bookings for our opening weekend please text 07413545922 or email email@example.com.
Whilst things are going to be a little different we would like to reassure our customers we will be doing everything we can to continue to make The Peacock Inn a happy, welcoming and safe environment to visit and we look forward to seeing you all again!
