Uckfield Weekend Sports Preview

After superb wins on the road over the past seven days against high-flying Eastbourne Town and Lancing, AFC Uckfield Town are back at the Oaks tomorrow, when they entertain Crawley Down Gatwick in the Southern Combination Premier Division.  Kick-off is at three o’clock.

In the Mid Sussex League, unbeaten Ridgewood have a home clash with Peacehaven and Telscombe Reserves at the Maresfield Recreation Ground.  Nutley are at home to Sidley, whilst Buxted go to Lindfield Reserves.  Elsewhere, Newick host Buxted Reserves.  Fletching are away to AFC Varndeanians third team.  And Maresfield visit Barcombe.

There’s no game this weekend for Lewes.  But, Brighton and Hove Albion are in action tomorrow – they’ll be looking to add to Tottenham’s recent woes when the two teams meet at the Amex Stadium, where kick-off is at the earlier time of 12.30.

In rugby union, Uckfield will be hoping to record their first win of the season, as they take on Vigo at Hempstead Fields.

Meanwhile, Newick are at home to Shoreham.
