Trains to and from Uckfield this morning are cancelled because of a points failure south of Crowborough.
Trains will be starting from Crowborough.
The Southern website states:
A points failure between Oxted and Uckfield is causing disruption between these stations. Trains may be cancelled or delayed. This is expected until 09:30.
Trains are unable to run between Crowborough and Uckfield. If you are travelling to or from Uckfield or Buxted you will need to use an alternative route to complete your journey.
Passengers at Buxted or Uckfield are STRONGLY advised to travel to Tunbridge Wells and use Southeastern services towards London Bridge.
Ticket acceptance is in place with the following services:
Southeastern between Tunbridge Wells and London Bridge
Southern between Haywards Heath and London Bridge
Brighton and Hove buses, route 28 and 29 between Uckfield, Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells.
Replacement buses have been requested. However these have not been confirmed. You will need to use alternative bus routes in order to reach your destination.

Late last night Network Rail advised us of a points failure on the single line between Crowborough and Uckfield, as a result we are unable to operate a service between these station. Network Rail are working hard to get this issue rectified as quickly and safely as possible.
