Uckfield Art Group’s Summer Show welcomed more than 150 visitors on 1st June at the Luxford Centre.
The theme area was water, so many ocean, river and water animals were depicted. Good use was made of the Tyler Room annex , which housed greeting cards and a HAVE A GO table. More than 123 paintings were exhibited.
Lots of new art pieces to see and buy, children’s craft table, arts in action who were whiling to give advice and guidance to budding artist, .
A collection for Cancer Research was taken, to honour 2 members who had recently succumbed to the disease.
Joint winners for the public vote were Anita Debnam’s Ted portrait and Julie Oliver’s Sea horse.
And finally you had to take advantage of the home made refreshments.
