Ridgewood Village Fair in the sunshine raises over £1,800

It was the hottest day of the year so far for the Ridgewood Hall Summer Fair when £1,800 was raised towards the village hall fund.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of food stalls including a Pizza van, a BBQ and a bar.

There were performances from Universal Dance and local singer Gemma Stillman.

And the crowds were entertained by Uckfield magician Kevin Morton.

The Mayor Cllr. Spike Mayhew and Deputy Mayor Jackie Love were also in attendance.   Both were put into stocks for charity and some very wet sponges were excitedly thrown in their direction.

There were 21 stalls on the field selling many different items and also representatives from local organisations including Delmelza.
