The Emirates FA Cup came to Uckfield today and was on display all day at the Picture House Restaurant.
The cup found it way to the town thanks to the proprietor of the Picture House, Kevin Markwick making a bid at a charity auction.
Roy Lewis has been supporting the Albion for the past 60 years. His family were at the restaurant for lunch with his family proudly supporting Albion regalia. He was interviewed by both the BBC and ITN news! and of course he spoke to Uckfield FM as well:
The Brighton and Hove Albion mascot Gully was on hand and excited fans both adult and children posed in front of the cup for souvenir photographs.
Visitors to the restaurant were donating money to the Seagulls charity ‘Albion in the Community’
Their was added excitement for Brighton fans as the team have reached the semi final of the FA Cup and will play Manchester City in two weeks time.
