Find out more about the facilities that will be offered by Wealden’s new Crematorium at the More Than Just A Funeral exhibition.
It takes place at Uckfield Civic Centre on Thursday 13 September.
The event deals with all matters connected with end of life planning including wills, hospice care, funeral planning, celebrants, humanist ceremonies and funeral repatriation. Also bereavement counselling, therapy pets, florists, monumental masons and registration.
There will also be an opportunity to look at the progress being made with the District’s first ever crematorium which is being built at Horam. It is expected to open early next year. You will be able to talk to people involved in the project and discuss the range of facilities that will be on offer. The Crematorium will include a Flower Court, Garden of Remembrance and Chapel suitable for all denominations. It will be set in a landscaped setting with ample car parking and state-of-the-art audio visual facilities.
The More than Just a Funeral exhibition takes place from 10.30 am to 4 pm on Thursday 13 September at Uckfield Civic Centre. Entry is free and everyone is welcome. The exhibition is being organised by C P J Field Funeral Directors.
