The Lavender Line miniature steam traction engine and classic car rally took place this weekend in the field behind the Laughing Fish public house in Isfield.
On Sunday the sun shone and the exhibitors were showing gleaming steam engines, army vehicles, classic cars, and even old garden rotovators.
The entry to the gala included entry to the historic railway station and rides on the train.
The restaurant was very busy and even ice creams were being sold on this warmish sunny October day.
Uckfield FM’s Mike Skinner was on hand to capture the atmosphere and spoke to the organiser Larry Lewis.
Mike then found a truck full of bottles of cider from Quarry Farm at Bodiam and spoke with the owner John Eastwood about cider.
After sampling the lovely cider Mike spoke to one of the exhibitors at the gala, Terry Wildish from Canterbury.
