Abba Fever at the Civic Centre Uckfield

A packed and very enthusiastic audience, many who had dressed the part , at the Civic Centre Uckfield on Saturday evening, saw a five-piece live band with five-part harmonies and a show that transported you back to the 70s through the biggest hits of the world’s favourite band.

This was ABBA FEVER…. Live vocals, stunning musicianship, authentic costumes and exciting choreography all contributed to a spectacular show which got the audience to their feet on Saturday night . Now in their 20th year, Abba Fever is one of the most successful touring live Abba productions in the UK and Europe!

With the music of Abba firmly in the hearts of all generations – what better time was there to bring an Abba tribute to the Uckfield venue. If experience, professionalism, high quality sound and visual production is what you were looking for – Abba Fever ticks all the boxes!

Abba Fever Band Members are:

Katie Eastwood – Agnetha –  Katie is a vibrant, friendly and established professional singer, dance teacher and actress. She is based in and originates from the East Midlands but has travelled across the UK and overseas throughout her career.

Lesley McCoy – Anni-Frid….Lesley is an award winning vocalist who has performed in a variety of venues and productions throughout the country. Primarily a singer, Lesley is also proficient on the flute, keyboard and a skilled songwriter.

Steve Nelson – Benny….Steve began playing the piano at the age of 6, quickly worked through his classical training & progressed onto keyboards. By the age of 16 Steve was representing the U.K. for Yamaha across Europe.

Dayle Thompson – Bjorn…After learning the piano from a very early age Dayle moved on to teach himself guitar and bass guitar, which eventually lead him to signing a record contract with roadrunner records in the early nineties with his rock band Delirium/D-elz as bass player and a songwriter and Pat Rudge – Ola Brunkert (Drummer) Originally from East Anglia, Pat started playing drums & percussion in his teens & by his late teens he was successfully signed to the record label Cavalis

The Abba Fever Set List included most of the favourite Abba songs Dancing Queen, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Fernando, Does Your Mother Know, Money Money Money, Name Of The Game, Voulez Vous, Super Trouper, Knowing Me Knowing You, Honey Honey, Take A Chance On Me, Lay All Your Love, Mamma Mia, Thank You For The Music, Waterloo, to name but a few !!!!
