Bridge Cottage Time Capsule is buried

*Updated* The Time Capsule was buried today and will be opened in 2117!

The time capsule which will be buried at Bridge Cottage tomorrow is now ready.

It contains information from local organisations, groups and others about the town we live in.

It will be buried for 100 years and sadly many of us will not be here to see it opened in 2117!

The ceremony starts tomorrow at Bridge Cottage at about 12:45pm.

The schedule:-

11:30am Open to the public with FREE entry to the ground floor of Bridge Cottage. There will be a small display of contributors content for the public to view what has gone inside the capsule with their organisational details.

12:55pm – Mick Harker, Chairman of Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre will prepare for the ceremony.

1pm – The ceremony of burying the capsule.

1:30pm – Bridge Cottage will be open FREE until 3pm.

All sleeved ready for packing
All packed in time capsule
