Slim Whitman and his son Byron joined Paul Hazell on the phone from their Florida home.
Slim Whitman’s record sales run into many millions over a career that began in the 1940s and included “Rose Marie”, “Love Song Of The Waterfall” and “Indian Love Call”. He was still touring right up to 2002 and a key part of his show was singer, songwriter, musician Byron who performed his own part of the show as well as singing duets with dad. Slim recently turned 90 yet is still a good seller and at age 86 recorded his most recent album. The interview includes Slim speaking about his career, 67 years of marriage and hundreds of recordings, along with a lot of his famous music.
